Scream is an American murder mystery film franchise. It has released parts till now and the seventh part is on its way to be released. It is a star-packed film series that starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette along with Roger L. Jackson. Courtney and Roger are the only two stars who acted in all six parts of the franchise.
Neve Campbell was in the first part of the series and stepped away in the sixth part. One of the reporters of Deadline magazine has stated that actor Neve Campbell has announced that she is returning for the seventh instalment of Scream and will be seen playing Sidney Prescott.

Campbell herself has confirmed that Sidney is going to be followed again and also that it was the pitch of the season that she jumped on board. She has also added that she had not received the final script for the new film but was hoping to receive it soon.
Neve has added that she loves these movies and that they are so much fun to be a part of. She also said that she is grateful for them and she could never have imagined being a part of a movie that would have lasted this many decades.
Neve Campbell has also explained the reason for not being a part of Scream VI has said that she did not feel what she was being offered equated to the value she would be bringing to that franchise and had brought to that franchise for 25 years. The director of the series, Kevin Williams, was in favour of bringing Campbell back and also stated that she should be compensated accordingly. The team of directors for Scream VII will also have a change.
The shooting for it will begin in late 2024. The sixth part was released in 2023.
